Most often this will consist of eliminating your power unit and pulling wire throughout the dash to replace the antenna base to a non power version. With our **US PATENT 10,573,960** conversion kit this labor and time is no longer needed. You’re going to simply install our kit into your current power unit. Kit includes both the insert and our German Engineered 6 3/4″ short antenna. Easily Convert from a Power Antenna even as the usage of your power unit as the antenna base!! 1) Simply take away the exterior mounting nut and pull the factory power antenna mast out of the power unit. 2) Install our conversion sleeve as a substitute. 3) Install the exterior mounting nut. 4) Thread our 6 3/4″ antenna into our conversion sleeve.
